1. Acceptance of these Terms

A parent or guardian who consents for a minor assumes responsibility for the minor's actions on the site.

Montiva México operates an educational digital journal and platform focused on practical personal finance content for residents of Mexico. We publish articles, templates, regional cost comparisons, and a structured course titled "Montiva: hábitos simples para organizar tu presupuesto." The site provides downloadable budgeting tables, case studies, and guidance on forming sustainable financial habits. We may offer free resources and paid course enrollment. The content is educational and intended to assist users in organizing everyday finances. The scope of the service excludes personalized financial advice or individualized consulting unless a separate written agreement is in place.

3. User Obligations

Users must use the site lawfully and in good faith. 7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Montiva México and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the site. Our maximum aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the lesser of the amount paid by the user to Montiva México in the prior 12 months or 100 EUR. 11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of León, Guanajuato, Mexico, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

12. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, parties agree to a 30-day informal resolution period during which the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve disputes. If unresolved after 30 days, either party may pursue remedies in the courts specified in the governing law clause.

13. Termination

Montiva México may suspend or terminate access to the services, remove content, or restrict accounts for violations of these Terms or for any conduct deemed harmful. Termination may occur with or without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law, will remain effective after termination.

14. Modifications

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective 14 days after posting an updated version to the site. We will post the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
